The Teachers

Rhio Reigh

Rhio is the founder of the Montessori Parent-Toddler Program and Rhio’s Casa dei Bambini Montessori School, both conveniently located on Professional Drive in Santa Rosa.

She has been teaching young children for many years and has owned and operated quality Montessori schools throughout Santa Rosa.

A Cal Poly graduate in Child Development and Master’s student in the Montessori Teacher’s Training Program at Sonoma State University; Rhio has gone on to dedicate her life to the Montessori Method of teaching in both Sonoma and Marin counties for over three decades.

Her sensitivity to the needs of the very young child inspired the creation of a unique & incisive new program-the Montessori Parent-Toddlers. This dynamic approach actively involves parents in their child’s Montessori based training. Parent and child are thus invited into a wonderfully prepared and nurturing environment.

The school’s former location on McDonald Avenue earned The Best Preschool in Sonoma County Award. Rhio’s current location on Professional Drive is highly regarded and Rhio, herself is renown in the area.

She has conducted a Montessori Toddler Teacher Training course in San Francisco and is currently a guest speaker for the course An Introduction to Montessori, at the Junior College, course.

An avid and well-recognized naturalist, Rhio is the Vice President of RROS-Redwood Regional Ornithological Society. She brings her love of nature into the classroom. Young children simply gravitate to her gentle aura and respect for all living things.
